The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is an Anchor University under BXAI’s Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program (AFLSP).  Each year, 10 AFLSP scholarship places are offered for the university’s research or taught postgraduate programs.

HKUST has a student body of 14,807, of which 5,060 are non-local students.

 

AFLSP Highlights:

  • 10 scholarship places are offered for HKUST each year.  Scholars are supported throughout the normative study period*.
  • Eligibility extends to all research or taught postgraduate programs, including double-degree master’s programs.
  • Scholars are invited to take part in a series of leadership training and off-campus activities, including local tours and seminars that aim to enrich their historical, cultural, and economic knowledge of Asian countries.

* BXAI provides up to US$25,000 per year, or a total of US$50,000 per scholar.  The additional support is covered by HKUST.
